Drawing Walls using Cartesian Coordinates (Video)
Do you want to insert walls for a bay window but are not sure of the length or angle of the wall, you only know the overall distance it protrudes from the house? While inserting the walls, look at the command line at the bottom of your screen, the left side of the commander will say Polar, click on the arrow beside it to switch to Cartesian. Cartesian coordinates allow you to define your lengths by indicating how far in the X(horizontal orientation) and Y(vertical orientation) direction your next point will be. So instead of indicating that a wall is 2’6 in the 45 degree direction you can indicate the next point of the wall is 3′ over and 3′ up. Hope that makes your Envisioneer work, one step easier!
